The Team


We're Tonya and Gwen (aka Gigi). The mother-daughter duo behind One Mean Team. Founded in 2019, we started selling our granola at the Sunday Artisan Market in Ann Arbor, MI under the name 21 Cranes. We'll never forget the young boy who dragged his mother to our table, asking to buy some granola for his grandmother. After making their selections, the two went on their way. But not before the young boy turned back to us and said, "That's one mean granola!" And well, that was that. We were smitten by his love of our granola and we knew it was time to step up our game! And while our branding may have changed, our deliciousness did not! 

We obtained our commercial cooking license in 2020 (yep, smack dab in the middle of a global pandemic!) and haven't looked back. We handcraft each batch in the Agricole Incubator Kitchen in Chelsea, MI. During the warmer months, you can find us at a few local farmers markets. We're also in four brick and mortar locations, and counting! 
But most importantly, we wouldn't be here if it weren't for you! We are full of so much gratitude for every bag of granola and every pouch of brittle purchased. We thank you from the bottom to the tops of our hearts!
